Caring for Borneo Through Long-Term Support

Vonoci is supporting a conservation initiative in Borneo in partnership with The Nature Conservancy and Indonesia’s YKAN Foundation. The project helps protect around 54,000 acres of rainforest in East Kalimantan.

This area is part of one of the world’s oldest rainforest ecosystems and is home to a wide variety of plant and animal species, including orangutans, clouded leopards, and Bornean pygmy elephants. These forests also play an important role in carbon storage and climate balance.

In addition to conservation work, the initiative includes areas managed for responsible timber production, supporting a more balanced and sustainable use of forest resources.

This reflects Vonoci’s ongoing commitment to responsible sourcing. From the beginning, we have focused on using wood from certified forests where sustainability standards are in place.

When you choose Vonoci, you are supporting a more responsible approach to design and production that considers both people and the environment.
